I also integrated an Autonomous Intersection Management (AIM) system to control the flow of traffic at intersections and taught "CS 378 - Autonomous Vehicles in Traffic".
I worked on robotics research inside the RoboCup domian from 2002-2010 and was fortunate to win a world title and place in the top 3 every year. I have built complete multi-agent robotic systems that include Vision, Localisation, Behaviour and Motion subsystems.
Where possible I liked to use machine learning to optimise and improve the overall performance of my robots. I've had success learning motion, vision and low level behaviours using both online and offline learning.
I was a founding engineer at Clover. We built an open, cloud based POS based on custom android hardware. I was there from first concept through to witnessing it do (10s of) billions of dollars in transactions per year.
